week - 10

Hello Robert and my friends,

This week is the last week of our course and I have to say bye bye to you all. Have to say thanks to Robert. I always think that I am very lucky to get a chance to take this course.

This course gave me a lot of knowledge. In this course we have done a lot of activities. We have made a blog, delicious page, a webquest, a class website by using google sites , wrote a project and many other things like writhing technology based lesson plan, made a rubric, interactive PowerPoint presentation and we have written one computer lesson plan.  Well , I have known many websites which are very good for the teachers. Through this course I have read a lot of articles from web sites. I really love it. Actually I don't have much time to do all those things but I tried my best , I reduced my sleeping time and did my online course. But I know it really worth to do that. I will apply all the technology tools which I have learned from web skills course in my teaching.

Thank you very much Robert, you are very patient and kind to me. You replied all my mails and helped whenever I needed.

Thank you very much to all of my friends. Thanks for all your comments for me , my friends. We can keep in touch although our course is finished. If you wish to contact me I'm warmly welcome.

week - 9

Hello everyone,

This week we have done our final projects. Our course is almost finished. In week – 9 we have read the articles about learning styles and multiple intelligences.  I am very interested in learning styles. As a teacher we should know multiple intelligences and learning styles. Although I have known about these before, this week reference reading articles gave me a lot of knowledge.  This week I would like to describe the common learning styles on my blog. Three common learning styles are the auditory, the visual and the kinaesthetic. Most of my students are auditory, visual and kinaesthetic learners. Kinaesthetic is a word which comes from Greek language. It means movement. Actually  your  learning style has been with you since you were born. Do you all agree?   But one thing is some students are learning with not only one style, they can be both auditory and visual learners. They learn with both styles.  That is interesting, right?   Some of my students said they learn best when they listen to me and sometimes when I show them the word cards. So I found out they learn best with two learning styles.

We are going to be in week – 10 and we all have to say good bye soon. Well if our course finishes, we can still keep contact each other through emails.

week - 8

This week I am very excited for my project report. I think , not only me all my colleagues may be excited too. I have made my class website for the students to put on home work. But something is wrong. I can't change the homepage. However I will try it again. In this week we have discussed about  a very useful tools on ANVILL.  That is very useful for language teachers like us.

week - 7

Oh, we are in week - 7 and almost finish our course. I am very excited about my project. I thought about what I have done in week - 7. I have written a lesson plan and the advantages  of using the computer in the class. That is very good topic to discuss . We have many things in this course.

week - 6

In week - 6 , I have done power point presentation for telephoning language. Power point is quite familiar with me, cause I had done power point presentation before. I will use it in the future too. Power point is a good tool for presentation.
As for my project I am still figuring out what to do . Robert gave me some ideas , want to say thank you to Robert.
For my project I would choose some tools to use in my class which I described in my previous project task.
I will choose some vocabulary games websites or listening websites ,not sure yet I am still thinking.
 

week - 5

 

 I was in trouble in week - 5 . Because of the internet connection. Whenever I tried  I couldn't make a new post. Luckily now I can post in my blog. In week-5 I have learned new things again. I have done a webquest. That is very new for me. I have never heard about that. I like that. I"m sure students will be interested in that. They will learn more if we use the webquest. To tell you the truth I am happy to learn new techniques but because of the connection I was upset sometimes.

Get a shock but happy in week -4

In this week – 4 we have learned new things again. This course always gives me new and new taste week by week.

This week I have found many websites for learning English. Then I have chosen some websites for my students and discussed about that on Nicenet. The best thing which I like this week is writing technology-enhanced lesson plan. As a teacher I have written such a lot of lesson plans but they were all ordinary lesson plans. But now have to write the lesson plan that base on technology, at first I got such a shock. Then I thought again, I have taught my students by using computer, using some English learning websites in every summer classes. So I have experience and no need to worry about that. That's why I tried my best. Day by day I like web skills course more and more. I am sure I can use CALL  not only in summer classes,  I will use it in regular classes too.

about week 3

Now we are in week-3 and I have learned a lot.  I can bookmark the link in Delicious now.I found out a lot of websites for learning English. I am so happy to do all the tasks.

Studying makes people perfect. That's why I want to study more and want to improve my English.
